[Happy Birthday!] The Last Express

Hello old games lovers,

Today we celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Last Express, released today in 1997.

The game is part of a genre I truly love, the graphic adventures, and is remarable for having been one of the first to experiment a real-time simulation since a minute in real life is also a minute in the game. As the title may suggest, the game is set on the famous Orient Express and the plot has a lot of similarities with the italian giallos or thrilling and with Agatha Christie novels.

The visuals, more similar to games life Full Throttle or to the FPS XIII that to the “classic” graphic adventures, are interesting and very well finished so there’s no reason why you shouldn’t give a try!

I enjoy Agatha Christie novels (including the Orient Express) and adore graphic adventures. Might have to look into this! Either way, Happy Birthday to the Last Express!
