[Shut up and take my money!] Mega Drive vs. NES – Part 2.0

Mini Mega Drive

It’s a few days the news is in the air (at least for me…): SEGA, Nintendo rival for ever and ever decided to release this year its version on mini Mega Drive.

It’s seems we’ve been thrown back in the Eighties when the two console titans were leading the gaming market. I’ve always been a NES man but this time, 20 years late , I will try toi give SEGA a change to find a way into my heart. The goal is to get both the mini consoles and play with them on alternate days.

For sure this time SEGA already won the war at least for the number of titles installed on the console (80!) here are the titles (so bad Alex Kidd in Miracle World was a Master System game and not a Mega Drive one…):

    2. Bet you love this. I wonder if Sonic & Knuckles is Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

I absolutely love this. Nothing makes me happier than a reasonably-priced way to get my hands on classic games. I’m not sure about the Sonic game list… we have Sonic 1-3 and a separate Sonic & Knuckles game, so I’m guessing it’d be that one!

      2. Sonic 3 & Knuckles was amazing, albeit a little over long. I’m tempted to get this one as I don’t have most of these on my Mega Drive.

What an age we live in. The return of 2 gaming giants, except miniaturized, haha. Well, at least Mario and Sonic get along during the Olympics!

Maybe we are all inside a immense DeLorean and we’ve all come back to 1985…

Holy crud, this is incredible. I’d like to this kind of idea applied to more obscure consoles like the TurboGrafx-16 (that is, if whoever owns the license to it has sufficient financial leggings)

If only!!! I would like to see also the unlucky Atari Jaguar…maybe it’s time to make a petition to have a reboot of the old consoles…
