Before Bubsy became synonim of awful videogame our loved rabbit was a protagonist of good 2D adventures. In an era in which platformer mascots were a legion (Superfrog, Zool, Dynamite Headdy, James Pond a.k.a. Robocod, Rayman, and so on) Super Bubsy was one of those colourful platformers I was more fond of, together with Superfrog. I played it first time thanks (of course) to the pirate compilation Twilight 013 and the game, that I discovered only years later it was simply the port for Windows of Bubsy in: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind although with a different name, got good reviews when it came out. Before Bubsy became the idiot character in an horrible 3D adventure, he used to moonjump, he collected balls of string and jumped on strange raspberring creatures to dispose of them, but in the end it was fun.
