One of the first FPS I’ve ever completed, one of the greatest games of its genre (neck a neck with Half Life), a game that made history: Deux Ex turns today 20, having been released on June 17th, 2000. The mix shooter-pseudo RPG that sees our hero J.C. Denton in his task to stop a mysterious epidemy (any resemblance to modern facts is purely concidental) that is decimating the world was the biggest success of Ion Storm, way more that the coeval and more advertised Daikatana. Uno dei primi FPS che io abbia mai terminato, uno dei più grandi nel suo genere (quasi alla pari di Half Life), un gioco che ha fatto scuola: Deus Ex compie oggi 20 anni, essendo stato rilasciato il 17 Giugno, 2000. Il mix shooter-pseudo RPG che vede il nostro J.C. Denton alle prese con una misteriosa epidemia (ogni riferimento alla situazione attuale è puramente casuale) che sta falcidiando il mondo fu il più grande successo della Ion Storm, ben più del coevo e molto più pubblicizzato Daikatana.
