A lot of the games that will be revisited here will have, as well as adult themes, some contents that may offend somebody. But please remember, we are here just to re-discover something rightfully forgotten, so don’t take it so seriously, we don’want to offend anybody. Just have fun and laugh 🙂

Molti dei giochi che saranno recensiti qui avranno sia contenuti per adulti, sia contenuti che potrebbero offendere qualcuno. Per favore tenete a mente che siamo qui solo per riscoprire cose giustamente dimenticate, quindi non prendete il tutto troppo su serio, non vogliamo offendere nessuno. E fatevi ‘na risata 🙂
Today’s game is Party Games.
You’ll never know where you can end up when browsing online during the quarantine. For example you can stumble upon GenerationAmiga.com and ending up reading about Party Games an (apparently) obscure video game that under the playful “party” label hides a 100% pornographic game. Giving the fact that there are almost no infos online I tried to check with people I know a bit older than me who grew up in the Amiga years and apparently some of them recall this game and I’ve even found one who played it.

Non si sa mai in cosa ci si può imbattere gironzolando a caso per internet durante la quarantena. Ad esempio si può finire su GenerationAmiga.com e finire a leggere un breve articolo che parla di Party Games un (apparentemente) oscuro gioco che sotto la giocosa etichetta “party” nasconde un gioco 100% pornografico. Dato che le informazioni online sono pochissime ho provato a verificare con quelli che conosco con qualche anno in più di me che hanno frequentato il mondo Amiga anni fa e a quanto pare alcuni di loro affermano di ricordarselo e uno addirittura di averci giocato.
Why is forgotten?
In the early 90s pornography wasn’t something so easy to access as it is today (to the point is not a taboo anymore). Trying to get something (frequently something bad) meant you had to look for an old and torn VHS with piss-coloured images or some skin mags that passed from hand to hand (and thinking about what they were used for and what the hands were doing with them I can only say DISGUSTING) and it was stuff that had to last a lifetime and you hads to use A LOT of fantasy (a lot). It’s not so strange then that a game so obscure was actually something spread all oroind Europe, although off the book and it’s no surprise that, despite the theme, very popular in the average teenager, the game fell quickly into oblivion, like something to be ashamed of.
If only back then we had known that in the third millennium the pornography and Instagram stories would have been almost the same thing…
Nei primi anni 90 la pornografia non era affatto una cosa fruibile, come oggi, liberamente e senza problemi (e ormai quasi anche senza tabù), anzi. Procurarsi del materiale (spesso scadente) significava scovare un VHS con le immagini color piscio ormai strautilizzato o dei giornaletti che passavano di mano in mano (e sapendo a cosa servivano e cosa facevano le mani che li toccavano posso solo dire CHE SCHIFO) ed era roba che comunque doveva durare una vita e si doveva far andare molto (MOLTO) la fantasia. Non mi sorprende dunque che un gioco così oscuro sia in realtà qualcosa che sottobanco girava parecchio in tutta Europa fino a raggiungere angoli sperduti d’Italia e neppure mi sorprende il fatto che nonostante la tematica, molto popolare nell’adolescente medio, il gioco sia passato rapidamente nel dimenticatoio come qualcosa di “vergognoso” o di proibito.
Se solo ai tempi avessimo saputo che nel terzo millennio la pornografia e le storie di Instagram sarebbero state praticamente la stessa cosa…
Why is forbidden?
Do you need to ask? I doubt that this thing has ever been officially distributed and little is knonwn about the software house behind, Modedeal. The only (few) mentions are related to Party Games and to another game, maybe even more obscure, Party Girls, this time for Commodore 64 (seems, legit, even Commodore useres needed to wank). It looks like Modedeal loved parties…
Beh c’è da chiederlo? Dubito che questa cosa sia mai stata distribuita ufficialmente e della software house convolta, la Modedeal non ci sono notizie online. Le uniche (poche) menzioni sono quelle relative a Party Games e ad un altro gioco, forse ancora più oscuro, Party Girls, stavolta per Commodore 64 (giustamente anche loro volevano farsi le pippe). Well, let’s say that there’s little fun. The game consist in a series of porno clips or better porno frames that become a proper clip every time you move the joystick: the faster you move the more fluid is the clip. Beh diciamo che di divertente c’è poco poco. Il gioco consiste in pratica una serie di filmati porno o meglio una serie di fotogrammi porno che diventano un film ad ogni destra-sinistra del joystick: maggiore è la velocità nel menare lo stick, più fluido è il filmato. Sapendo lo scopo ultimo del gioco possiamo dire che il gameplay rappresenta una sorta di allenamento per i muscoli del braccio, anche se il movimento non è proprio lo stesso…
How can I play it?
Little is known about this game and I suppose it would be impossible to track down an “official” version, provided it has ever existed. Only in recent times with the spread of the internet this archeological find has come to life, thanks so several websites that uploaded an emulated version. I doubt that downloading it it’s illegal, since it’s available on archive.org, so if you want to go back to when you was a pimply teenager with no chances to see a boob then you’re welcome…
Poco si sa di questo gioco e suppongo sia impossibile trovarne una versione “ufficiale”, posto che sia mai esistita. Solo ultimamente con lo sviluppo di internet questo reperto archeologico è tornato alla luce grazie ad alcuni siti che hanno caricato la versione per emulatore. Dubito che scaricarlo sia illegale, dato che è disponibile anche su archive.org, quindi se volete tornare a quando eravate degli adolescenti brufolosi e non vedevate una tetta manco a disegnarla accomodatevi pure…

I have not played this game. Congratulations on finding such an obscure game, even the company that made it seems to be forgotten. The graphics seem to be very poor quality, with the red colour obscuring most of the image, although it did not hide the fact that the pictures were heavily pixelated. The gameplay seems very unusual, using joystick movements to force the film to play, although it seems like a very tiring way of playing a computer game.
How is the game played with 4 players? Does the film only take up a quarter of the screen?
