[Editorial] Guess what’s next on I ❤ Old Games! – 17/11/19

Hello guys,

The world championship with my loved GP2 is still running and after a positive 2nd place in Spain another 2nd place has arrived, this time in Canada: thanks to a lucky series of good placements and retirements of other contenders I’m now leading the championship together with Coulthard (40 points each) and with three points on Schumacher; luckily enought, Hill is far away, 23 points behind. Next stop will be France, a race I’ve never loved, but then ther will be Silverstone where I hope to go for the gold: ) After a week spent buying Christmas decorations and a weekend spent assembling the Christmas three along with the train that runs below and placing loving birds on the branches I can console myself with the last cards that have arrived. Iìve decided with a heavy heart to disassemble my blue-green deck and create a super control mono blue that even at the first test has shocked me for its intolerability (positive speaking): I’ve finally found a good deck to put against the mono white that still keeps gaining life points but it ends up with nothing because before it can strike with the big fat guys has no cards left in the deck: a TKO…

Prosegue il mio campionato con il caro vecchio GP2 e dopo un positivo secondo posto in Spagna è arrivato un altro secondo poasto anche in Canada: grazie ad una serie fortunata di piazzamenti e di ritiri altrui mi trovo ora a guidare il mondiale a pari punti con Coulthard (40 a 40) e con 3 punti di vantaggio su Schumacher; per fortuna Hill è a distanza, ben 23 punti dietro. La prossima gara è in Francia, un circuito che non ho mai amato particolarmente, ma arriverà poi Silverstone dove spero di fare il botto 🙂 Dopo aver passato una settimana a comprare addobbi natalizi e un weekend a montare in albero e annesso trenino e a disporre uccellini in amore sui rami, posso consolarmi con gli ultimi arrivi in fatto di carte. Ho deciso a malincuore di smontare il mio mazzo verde-blu per creare un super control mono blu che ai primi test mi ha stupito per quanto sia insopportabile (in senso positivo): finalmente ho trovato un mazzo valido per contrastare lo strapotere del mono bianco che continua sì a guadagnare punti vita ma prima che possa sferrare gli attacchi decisivi si ritrova senza carte nel mazzo: un K.O. tecnico…
