Doom. Four letters, a genre. By the time the first id Software game came out the worl of FPS and the video games world in general would never be the same. When Doom II came out one year later in 1994 not as a shareware product anymore but as a full featured game for id was another success. And today we celebrate this anniversary, since the game has been distributed in Europe 25 years ago today, October 10th, 1994
Doom. Quattro lettere, un genere. Quando uscì il primo capitolo della id Software il mondo degli FPS e dei videogame in generale non fu più lo stesso. Quando uscì Doom II l’anno dopo nel 1994, non più come prodotto shareware ma come gioco fatto e finito fu un ulteriore successo. E oggi festeggiamo questo anniversario, dato che il gioco è stato distribuito in Europa 25 anni fa oggi, il 10 Ottobre, 1994.
