Today’s game is Diva X : Ariana.

In this column I often talk about games that are almost pornographic and that push nard or erotism, but in this case I have to say that the burden that separate a game from a porn movie has almost been banged (pun intended). The Diva from the title is Ariana, stage name of Rebecca Reilly, class 1958 that back then was 37 and still in a very good shape (shape that she shows in every possible way). The only thing missin in the game to be defined 100% pornographic is a penetration, but we’re almost there or better there is penetration but is not explicitly shown.

Diva X: Ariana, that with the “sequel” Diva X: Rebecca (1996) forms a mini-series has been developed and published by PIXIS Interactive, a company with a short lifespan that produced exclusively adult titles: after the chaste Neurodancer (1994), the following year they released Space Sirens 2: Megababes from Ajia, then our two Diva X games and in the end UltraVixens and UltraVisenx 2 in 1997 and 1999 with a cartoonish aspect but that spiced things up a lot more.

Spesso in questa rubrica ho parlato di giochi al limite del pornografico e con un erotismo molto spinto, ma in questo caso direi che il confine del porno è praticamente sfondato (doppio senso non voluto). La Diva del titolo è Ariana, al secolo Barbara Reilly, classe 1958 che ai tempo del gioco era ancora una 37enne in gran forma che ci mostra tutto di sè…e quando dico tutto intendo proprio tutto. L’unica cosa che manca al gioco per essere definito veramente pornografico è la penetrazione, ma a quello poco ci manca, o meglio c’è ma non è mostrata chiaramente.

Why is forgotten?

Sex sims are probably still a thing (I admit I’ve never had one) but according to the tons of ads that pester the internet connections probably there are still a lot of people that dowload stuff like this so this is probably one of those cases in which a game is not completely forgotten, at least for the genre it represents. Regarding the actual game instead yes, I double anybody remember or has ever heard of it, even because the adult industry pops out a new girl every two days, so something that’s 2 years old it looks like it’s an aeon old.

I sex sims sono probabilmente ancora in voga (ammetto di non averne mai avuto uno), ma giudicando dalle tonnellate di annunci che impestano la navigazione, probabilmente c’è acora un sacco di persone che scaricano roba del genere quindi questo è uno dei pochi casi in cui probabilmente un gioco non è completamente dimenticato, perlomeno per quanto riguarda il genere che rappresenta. Il gioco in sè invece  sì, probabilmente nessuno se ne ricorda o ne ha mai sentito parlare anche perchè l’industria per adulti sforna una nuova star ogni due giorni, quindi una roba vecchia di due anni sembra vecchia ere geologiche.

Why is fun?

Technically a porn is not “funny” and if it is, this might be a problem. Well, let’s say that it could be a lazy evening pastime, as long as you have a normal social life and a girlfriend to laugh at this with. Otherwise if you’re single and you go for this wel…let’s say that there’s somethign better to do out there…

Tecnicamente un porno non è “divertente” e se lo è, allora potrebbe essere un problema. Ecco, diciamo che può essere il passatempo idiota di una sera, a patto che uno abbia una vita sociale normale e una ragazza con cui ridere di queste cretinate. Altrimenti se siete single e vi buttate su queste cose beh…diciamo che c’è di meglio da fare là fuori…

How can I play it?

Giving the fact that I doubt there are still some original CDs out there (and if there are and you buy them it means you have money to waste), the only viable way at the moment is the more or less legal download of this “opera”. Otherwise, I think that a good porn will do the trick as well…

Visto che dubito si possa ancora trovare in giro il CD-ROM originale (e se lo trovate e lo comprate vuol dire che non avete problemi di soldi) l’unico modo disponibile al momento è il download più o meno legale dell'”opera”. In sostituzione, non che un qualunque porno non possa fare al cosa vostro..
