[Editorial] Guess what’s next on I ❤ Old Games! – 04/08/19

Hello guys,

As youìve read in the last [Picks of the Month] post I just got a PS Mini. It’s not the best mini console ever made (among the “official” ones it’s probably the worst) but it fills the empty spot between the NES Mini and the SNES Mini. My gf and I immediately started playing Tekken 3 and Battle Arena Toshinden…but then we switched on the Xbox 360 to play Street Fighter X Tekken 🙂

Now I’m waiting to pre-order the Mega Drive Mini, set to be released in September/October and I’m also keen to pre-order the PC Engine Mini, giving the fact that it’s hard for me to put my hands aon the real thing without spending a small fortune. Plus the games for it are quite pricey, with the exception of the 4-5 more common so this would be a fantastic purchase for a person like I am, willing to play new games on new formats.

The console will be out in spring 2020 and by that time I’ll need to save some money for the Intellivision Amico…too many Mini consoles to buy…But the launch of the PC Engine Mini made me want to get an original console and in the last days I’ve started again to check online for some ads. Who knows if I’ll succeed before the release of the mini replica…
