[Happy Birthday!] Mega Man 6

Hello old games lovers,

Mega Man is for sure one of the biggest series to date with a lot of games released in almost 30 years. Today we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the last “classic” title, the last released for the ageing NES, Mega Man 6, released today, March 14th, 1994 in the US. Capcom and Nintendo really cared about Mega Man since it’s probably the game with most iteration on the 8-bit console and it came out when the NES was virtually dead (the SNES was already on sale by 1992). The reviews were mixed to good (in a range from 65 to 85) and despite the game was praised for the consistent tried-and-tested gameplay it was criticized for being an unnecessary out of time sequel. Five years later, in 1999 Mega Man 6 was also ported on the PlayStation.
