This is a system I’ve briefly mentioned when I’ve discussed about the [RetroConsole] post about the 1292 Advanced Programmable Video System with which the VC 4000 is software-compatible althought in practice being the cartridges slots different in the two consoles is not possible to play the games designed for one system on the other and vice versa.

I’ve never heard of this, nor do I know any of the systems that it’s compatible with! Was it popular out your way?

As far as I know no…it was one of the 379266 cartridge based systems released in the late 70s. There are a lot of different consoles conpatible with this and giving the fact that there were so many models in a market not so big as it was in Europe in those years I don’t think it was SO popular. I think this system and its “clones” were releaased only in Europe and Australia so no compatibility with any american console. It’s not a big loss though…🤣 Nothing that a Fairchild Channel F can’t do…
