Hello guys,
It looks like the gods of games have been quiet last week. After a month of crazy expenses (I don’t want to check how much I’ve spent the whole month of September for games and consoles) now it’s time to relax and build a small nest egg for the next months. Collecting is like this, one month you find everything and you’re about to spend a fortune and the month after you don’t even find a cheap copy of Super Mario Bros.
C’est la vie.
That’s the reason why on the hunting side I’ve been quiet but that didn’t stop me from buying a lot of 13 untested Xboxes 360 for 50€. They came with no cables and and when I’ve tested them with mine I found out that 4 are perfectly working, two have some minor issues I can easily fix and the remaining have various problems I should check more in depth. I’ve bought this lot hoping to sell them one by one and make some money to spend on something that I REALLY want/need (like maybe a new soldering station???) so in the next weeks I’l be putting them on sale, of course after giving them a good deep clean since they’re filthy as hell!
On the other hand I’ve managed to complete a game after months of nothing. In just a week I’ve completed the Story Mode of Ken’s Rage for PS3. Probably it was because I set the game on easy but it was VERY easy. The difference between this game and an 80s style button masher is that this one has more quality and better graphics but, as far as I’ve seen now it relies too much on the nostalgia factor for people like me who loved FOTN back then. By the way, to celebrate this event yesterday night I’ve binge watched an indefinite number of episodes and they’re still damn fun! I love that series and I also believe that, throughout all the brutal killings, it conveys a great message. Even when you see super-evil warriors they all have their raison d’etre and they usually are tough but kinda fair.
Now I look forward to play Ken’s Rage 2…
