Hello old games lovers,
There was an age when the FMV was a thing and the CDs industry was burgeoning. Those years surely gave us great games but even some odd ones that during the years have gained a sort of cult fashion. One of these is Night Trap, released for the Sega-CD and 3DO today, October 15th, 1992. It’s probably the most known FMV game ever relased and even though behind it there’s one of the most important geme designer, David Crane, it received mixed to harsh reviews back then, due to the interactivity level (almost zero) and the boring plot. However we are in the decate of remakes and reboot so this year Night Trap will be re-released for the joy of the weirdest gamers 🙂
Yeah it came out a few months ago. It’s interesting. A weird mess, but interesting if you’re really into 80s stuff.

I remember this coming out very well. I was quite curious about it at the time but never did get a chance to play it. By modern standards it looks fairly terrible so I don’t think I’ll even bother with the re-release.

This game aged very badly but the rerelease is more like a documentary about it…

Even though the game got bad reviews, there’s something about the cover that I like! Very “B-Movie” horror! 🙂
