Hello old games lovers,
What happens when you are in the animal mascot era, back in the 90s, and in the midst of ninja craze? Easy, you release Zool, a platformer where the titular hero is a sort of ninja ant “from the Nth dimension”!
While pronbably the most known or the best platformer ever, Zool is still enjoyable even now and has some interesting features, namely some hidden stages and additional playable minigames. The rest is the traditional platformer divided in levels, each one ending with a boss. Zool was Gremlin Software effort to beat Sega in the mascot wars and even though the game is highly playabe, Sonic was too much to handle (even though even Sonic himself was not comparable to Nintendo’s Mario, the real winner of the “mascot” war).
So today let’s celebrate the 25th anniversary of Zool, released in October, 1992 for nearly all the platforms exixting in the early 90s.

Terrible and uninspired it had the sweet tie-in promotion in the pc version of the game? I can remember when this came out it was unmitigated drivel before it got ported to consoles.
I just want to say well done on the site i know how hard it is to keep up with new content and you do a much better job than me!
