This time is not Retro Gamer to be late but it’s all my fault. I’ve received this brand new issue a few weeks ago but for various reasons I’m putting out this post only now.
This wonderful white cover is dedicated to one of the most loved and longeve franchises in gaming history, Final Fantasy, and is dedicated to the twelfth installlment, released in 2006 which serves as an excuse o celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series.
I know a lot of you will love this piece, especially the Shameful Narcissist but I’m more attracted by the C64 retrospective. I’m a proud C64C owner even though I still lack the defining games (and most of all a working disk drive). Given my love for oddware I’m also very interested to discover more about a peripheral I still don’t know, the Sega modem.
I think this issue will be my companion during the holidays…
