[Happy Birthday!] Hexen II

Hello old games lovers,

Today we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hexen II, released in August 1997. This is the first sequel of Hexen, the Doom-like FPS with some RPG influences based on the Quake engine (which is in turn an improved version of the Doom engine which is in turn an improved version of the Wolfenstein Engine…). It was a great game to play back then (I have it for MS-DOS and for N64) and I loved it and so it was the second installment which was well received even though it didn’t match the success of the forerunner.

However if you like FPSs, medieval-ish setting, swords, magic and potion you should give Hexen II a go. You won’t be disappointed!
