[Happy Birthday!] Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

Hello old games lovers,

Today we celebrate one of the most influential graphic adventures ever released, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, released in June 1992. Talking about point-and-click games, LucasArts is an institution, having released during the years iconic games like Maniac Mansion, its sequel Day of the Tentacle, then Sam & Max Hit the Road and The Dig.

The Fate of Atlantis is a marvellous game and I discussed about it last month; the plot, the graphics and the longevity are absolutely the top of the top and it’s not a secret this is one of the games I love the most. The same games was released also in an action version (Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis: The Action Game) but even if it’s a good game, it’s nothing compared to the original.

So all hail to Indy!

Another great game – I remember playing this one as a kid and picking the ‘wit’ path! Can’t believe it was released so long ago.

Absolutely true. It’s a shame they never released a movie based on this game…
