Hello old games lovers,
Today, June 17th blows 18 candles Descent 3, third installment of a mini saga of peculiar FPS, whose first title was Descent, released in 1995. Descent is a particular FPS because first thing first from the beginning gave to the player a complete freedom of movement in all directions (at the point that sometimes you get sick from moving too much). The game was followed in 2000 by an official expansion, Mercenary and, thanks to the level editor, by a large number of homebrew mods.

I really need to play this someday still. Played the hell out of the first one, but then never got 2 and 3 for some reason.

You sure make me think about those old classics a lot. I’m still trying to find time to play Duke Nukem again after all the times you mention it!

I remember this being weaker than others in the series. Still a pretty fun game though. There still aren’t many 6 degrees of freedom games even today.
