Hello old games lovers,
Kirby is a frachise that got a lot of iterations on amost all Nintendo consoles. Today I’d like to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Dream Land, released today in 1992 for the immortal Game Boy. The developers did a great job since the games mechanics were quite similar the the original NES platformer, even though it was not possible to register the high scores for a lack of saving sistem.
Even though the games is black and white, it’s clear that Kirby is white, differently from its traditional rose color. Despite the color limitation, Kirby’s Dream Land has great visuals and its gameplay was awarded 3.7 out of 4.0 from Nintendo Power.
So all hail to Kirby!
I have not played this game, or any Kirby games, but I have an interest in them. How is this game played? How are Kirby games different to other side scrolling games?
