[Coming of Age] Pokémon Snap

pokemon-snap

In 1999 Pokemon phenomenon was already well known in Europe and Pokemon Snap was one of the many games centered on it.

While not maybe the best or the most famous it’s surely different from all other ones even because it wasn’t supposed to be a Pokemon game (something that happened also with Super Mario Bros. 2). However today is its 18th birthday, so all hail to Pokemon Snap!

This game is hilariously fun. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish it sometime! I have a strategy guide for the game so I have some new tricks up my sleeve to keep progressing now!

Unfortunately I’ve never played it since I wasn’t a big fan of Pokemon. But I have to recognize that the franchise has grown bigger and bigger and if after 20 years they’re still here, for sure there yill be a reason. So one way or another I should try it…

  2. I have played this game once. I remember it was entertaining. It was also interesting to see 3D Pokémon wandering around a location.
Was it very popular? The game seemed a little limited and was probably very repetitive.

I can’t tell. Is different from the others and this means that some people hate it and some loves it. I can say for sure it wasn’t the biggest success for a Pokemon game…

Happy Birthday Pokemon Snap! I loved it as a kid and think a new version for the Switch could transform it into a regular series. It was that fun for me!
