Hello guys,
Some of you looking at this picture probably will start to wonder why I put it here today. Who’s this guy with an astonished face? It’s just one of those 50 years old Beatles fanatic? It’s a producer or a sound technician?
None of them.
Some of you surely will know him, but for the others I will give a little clue. His name: Jon St. John.
Now wait a moment, don’t try to google it immediately, stay here and try to guess who’s him. He’s related to the video games world (otherwise he would’t have been on this blog…) but it’s not one of the key persons who work behind the desk, programming, encoding or writing a game. Maybe he’s even more.
Back in the days he worked in several US radio stations but it’s not (only) for thins that he’s famous. Ok actually this was another clue but Christmas is coming and I feel goody so here’s another one: he’s a dubber. And the game was (is still) quite famous, even if it’s 20 years old.
Hmmm, I see some of you still don’t recognize him. So, very last clue: the most politically incorrect and funny at the same time FPS made in the 90’s. No it’s not Wolfenstein 3D (there’s nothing to laugh there) and no it’s not DOOM (same as before). But is as iconic as these two (even more maybe).
Still nothing? Ok I give up. Here’s his voice (after pushing play you’ll probably facepalm). Don’t tell me you haven’t been warned!
Oh, P.S. Happy birthday Jon! 🙂
Imagine getting a prank call from this guy!!

It’s the first thing I imagined too! In fact if you check on youtube there are some prank calls made by him. 😀

Happy belated birthday Jon! I had the opportunity to meet him once. He’s a really cool, funny guy. I had him sign my Big the Cat stuff, haha…
