Playthrough – Part III. Bernard’s turn.

Hello everybody. This is the third part of my new playthrough adventure, this time dedicated to the immortal graphic adventure branded LucasArts Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle which saw the light in 1993, sequel of the other everlasting adventure Maniac Mansion.

Atfer George Washington chopped the (fake) cherry tree, suddenly the tree disappears also in the future and Laverne ket kidnapped by the tentacles and conicted along with parte of the Edison family.
Meanwhile Hoagi in the past xplores the house, picking up everything he finds: spaghetti, a bottle of oil, a bucket. Talking about the bucket, fill it with water and soap with the pump…
…then go outside and clean the dirty carriage. As it always happens the sky become cloudy, you hear thunders and lighthnings…
…immedialetly pops out Benjamin Franklyn on the way to his bedroom to fine-tune his kite.
Let’s move the action on Bernard and, as always we have to pick up everything we find, like the WANTED signal. We see that Hoagie gave Bernard the spaghetti that now are completely soaked.
In the back of the mansion we can collect the coffe, the decaf and a funnel.
Then we have to talk to the cigar man ans ask him for an Havana cigar…
…but it’s a joke. It’s a explosive cigar.
Disappointed, Bernard picks up the batting teeth, but before he has to trap them.
On second floor, Bernanrd enters one of the room with a confressman fell asleep. Pick up the keys behind the door.
In the other bedroom ther’s a depressed man which is unable to suicide. Give him the paper Hoagie found in the past with the invide to Baltimora., then pick up the fake pistol and the ink.
In the thrid room we find Green Tentacle. The only think we have to do is to pull the speaker and turn on the stereo.
If you go further exploring the house you find another Edison, busy to organize his stamps collection
Now take the hamster and use the ink with the stamp collection.
He’ll get mad and he will throw the book, from which we can take the pony express stamp.
Go back to the cigar man ad use the fake pistol with the one on the leftovers, then talk again with him. He takes it badly but now you have a fake Havana cigar.
Now go down in the lab and give Dr. Fred the decaf: he will fall asleep in a second.
We go now on 3rd floor in the control room, pull Edna with her chair away from the room, use the VHS with the VCR and start recordin what you see on the screen, then watch is again in slow motion in order to see the combination.
Use the combination in the office and take the contract.
Now go outside the mansion and give the car keys to the man who’s trying to open it with the crowbar. He will take them and give you the steeple back. Now use it to take the dime with the gum you find at the entrance of the mansion and to force the candy machine…and get tons of coins!
That stamp collector has anger issues.

Yes, he has. But imagine yourself with a hig-value stamp collection with a poni express stamp of the colonial age. And imagine an idiot putting on it black ink. Wouldn’n you break down and go crazy?
