[Editorial] Guess what’s next on I ❤ Old Games!

Hello everybody,

Since it’s Sunday and finally I have more time to dedicate to I ❤ Old Games! I thought it could be a good idea to tell you what you’re gooing to see on the blog during the upcoming week, but I don’t want to spoil that much so you need to be hapy with what I’m gonna give you 😉 .

You will find two posts regarding two video games; the first one, a legend among the gamers, was relased in 1991 so this year will be the 25th anniversary; three tips for you:

  1. Buddy;
  2. A Ferrari 288 GTO;
  3. A particle accelerator;

I think I gave you more than three tips, actually…

The second one it’s a NES classic, one of the Mario franchise. Here are the clues for you:

  1. A red virus
  2. A blue virus
  3. A yellow virus

This is very easy, c’mon…

To express my gratitude for reading I will thank you in both of the articles, so be the fastest to reply to this post with the name of the two video games and you’ll get a mention, i promise!

I hope you’ll enjoy the reading and if you have some stories, some suggestions or some anecdotes feel free to contribute, your helping hand will be more then welcome!

  2. I wanted to post quickly so this additional one is just to say that I absolutely love both of these titles. Out of this World was ahead of its time in so many ways, and Dr. Mario is just a classic. I recently heard an orchestral version of “Fever.”

      1. I. LOVE. That song. Soundtrack eh? I just heard the one song. It somehow got onto my playlist and I was like, “Oooo!” I’ll have to find the rest.

      3. Oh no worries! I assumed it would’ve been on the same album as the other Mario songs….which are fantastic, too. There’s a gorgeous medley of earlier Mario music that’s marvelous.

  3. I cheated and used Google for the first one. I definitely know what the second game is though.
